Through research, it is found that lithium batteries are usually composed of multiple single cells connected in parallel or in series.During the production and use process, the charge and discharge status, internal resistance, etc. of each single battery may be different, resulting in inconsistent battery cells, resulting in a decrease in battery capacity, which in turn affects the performance and service life of lithium batteries.

1. Before turning on the power, you need to confirm whether the power supply meets the input voltage and power frequency requirements of the instrument (AC100~264V50/60Hz), turn on the power;

2. Connect the battery pack:
The group A terminal wires in the figure below are used as an example. The wiring method of the terminals and the battery pack adopts negative terminal sequencing by default. The black wire is connected to the negative pole of the battery pack. The first red wire next to the black wire is connected to the first battery, the second red wire is connected to the second battery, and so on, until the twelfth battery.There are four types of Hirays lithium battery balancers, 12-string, 24-string, 36-string and 48-string, which means that up to 48 battery packs can be connected in series at the same time for testing.

3. After confirming the connection, confirm the set parameters on the home page of the instrument, then return to the home page, click "Start Maintenance" in "Basic Information", and the balancer can start working. You can also view the balancing information of each battery pack on this page.
